  • The Loft Reformer Pilates is based at Spen Business Park, 1 Ashworth Road, Blackpool, FY4 5LP — on the same business park as The Fit Lab and DRIP Infrared Pilates. We are a Reformer Pilates studio offering small, supportive classes designed to help you build strength, control and confidence.

  • The Loft is a Reformer Pilates studio in Blackpool. Our classes use the reformer machine to support controlled, focused movement that can help improve strength, posture, flexibility, balance and body awareness.

  • Reformer Pilates is a form of Pilates performed on a specialist machine called a reformer. We use Align Reformer machines (the best on the market). The reformer uses springs, straps and a moving carriage to add support, resistance and challenge to each movement. It can feel strong, precise and low impact.

  • Yes. Beginners are welcome at The Loft. If you are new to Reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with a beginner-friendly class so you can learn how the reformer works, understand the basic movements and build confidence safely.

  • No. You don’t need to be flexible before joining a Reformer Pilates class. Pilates can help you improve mobility and flexibility over time, but you can start exactly where you are. We’re more than happy to recommend a class if you are unsure.

  • Reformer Pilates can be challenging, but classes can also be adapted to suit different levels. Some sessions may feel strong and focused, while others may be slower and more controlled. The reformer allows you to work with support, resistance and precision.

  • Many people enjoy Reformer Pilates because it supports strength, posture, flexibility, balance, coordination and core control. It can also be a great option if you want a focused, low-impact class that still feels effective and challenging.

  • Wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely. Fitted clothing can be helpful so your instructor can see your alignment and support your technique. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. You can purchase them at the studio if you need to.

  • If you have an injury, health condition, are pregnant, postnatal, taking medication, or unsure whether Reformer Pilates is suitable for you, please check with a doctor or medical professional before attending.
